AJK Minister pays tribute to martyred soldier Abdul Aziz

MIRPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th May, 2026) Azad Jammu and Kashmir Minister for Energy and Water Resources Chaudhry Arshad Hussain paid glowing tribute to martyred Pakistan Army sepoy Abdul Aziz, a resident of Abbaspur, for sacrificing his life in the defence of the motherland while performing duty at a glacier situated at an altitude of 26,000 feet.

In an official statement issued on Friday, the minister said the brave soldier had made the entire nation proud through his supreme sacrifice for the country’s security and sovereignty. He remarked that the courageous sons of the soil were ensuring the nation’s peace, freedom, and stability by laying down their lives in the line of duty.

Chaudhry Arshad Hussain said the eternal sacrifices rendered by martyrs would always remain a beacon of light and courage for the nation. “The whole nation salutes its great martyrs whose unmatched sacrifices strengthen the spirit of patriotism and national unity,” he added.

The minister also expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathies with the bereaved family of the martyr, stating that the government and the entire nation stood with them in this difficult time. He prayed that Allah Almighty may elevate the ranks of Shaheed Abdul Aziz in Jannah and grant patience and fortitude to the grieving family.
