AJK Minister praises Pakistan's foreign policy, lauds role in US-Iran ceasefire

MIRPUR (AJK) , (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point news - 11th Apr, 2026) Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Minister for Kashmir Cause, Nabila Ayub Khan, while praising successful foreign policy of Pakistan, has said " the US-Iran ceasefire and the ongoing negotiation process on Pakistani soil have proven that Pakistan is a country that advocates for true peace in the world and by resolving the threats facing the world through negotiations, Pakistan will further enhance its unique status and identity not only in the Islamic world but also in the international community.

"The untiring efforts of Pakistan’s political and military leadership, full of foresight, insight and prudence, have saved the entire world from being engulfed in fire and gunpowder", she said adding "we congratulate valiant civil and military leadership of Pakistan for securing the great task for revival of regional and global peace.

Nabila Ayub said in a statement issued here that at the beginning of the US-Iran war, Pakistan had assumed extraordinary importance as a nuclear power and a victorious country against India in the Battle of Bunyan al Marsus under the leadership of Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir, and the eyes of peace-loving nations were focused on Pakistan, which could play a key role in saving the whole world from the ravages of war.

"Pakistan secured the full trust and support of other peace-loving countries, including China, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the US", she said.

"However, in all this situation, India and Israel, which are countries with terrorist mindsets, made new conspiracies to sabotage Pakistan's practical efforts for peace, which have so far been gone in vain", she added.

The AJK minister said that since US-Iran dialogue process has begun in Pakistan, which, she hoped, will end with the promise of a complete end to the war and lasting peace in middle east.

She further said that like Israel, India was also an usurper and terrorist country, which, she added, has enslaved the Kashmiri people by force unlawfully committing serious human rights violations by subjecting those who raise their voices for the fundamental right to freedom in Indian Illegally occupied Jammu Kashmir targetting innocent Jammu Kashmir state people of oppression and torture.
