AJK PM pays tributes to Hazrat Syed Ali Hajveri for his peerless contribution in preaching Islam in the subcontinent

MIRPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Apr, 2026) Azad Jammu Kashmir Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, while paying glorious tributes to eminent preacher of islam in the subcontinent Hazrat Syed Ali Hajveri for his peerless contribution to the preaching of Islam and the spiritual awakening of people in the subcontinent and beyond, said that the great Sufi saints, through their character and actions, illuminated the hearts of people with the light of Islam.

He expressed these views on Monday while visiting the shrine of great Sufi saint Hazrat Syed Ali Hajveri, also known as Data Ganj Bakhsh, in Lahore on Monday, it was officially stated by the AJK government on Monday.

authoritative sources told APP AJK Correspondent that the Prime Minister laid a floral wreath at the shrine and offered Fateha. He also offered special prayers for peace, progress, and prosperity of the country and the freedom of Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

?Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister said that Islam's universal message of brotherhood, tolerance, and mutual respect serves as a beacon of hope for peace and the greater good of humanity across the globe. ?

The PM was accompanied by government minister Javed Iqbal Badhanvi, IG Azad Jammu Kashmir Police Liaquat Ali Malik, and other officials of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir government on this occasion.
