According to official sources, additional police contingents are being deployed at sensitive locations, including Imambargahs and other places of worship, while security at vulnerable points is being further reinforced to prevent any untoward incidents during Muharram gatherings and processions. Entry and exit points leading to AJK districts will also remain under strict surveillance to deter the movement of anti-social elements and ensure public safety.
