Akakhel tribe's delegation raises community concerns with Governor Kundi

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th May, 2026) A delegation of the Akakhel tribe, headed by Sardar Ayub Khan Akakhel, met Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi here at Governor House and discussed a range of issues affecting the community.

During the meeting, the delegation informed the governor about various challenges faced by the Akakhel tribe and requested his support in ensuring their timely resolution. The participants emphasized the need for greater attention to longstanding concerns and sought effective coordination with the relevant authorities.

The delegation appreciated Governor Kundi for dedicating time on Eid to hear public grievances and community issues, noting that such engagement by public representatives helps strengthen trust between citizens and the government.

Governor Kundi assured the delegation that serving the people remained his foremost priority and that his doors were always open to the public. He said no community would be deprived of its legitimate rights and pledged to pursue all genuine issues on a priority.

He further assured the delegation of his full cooperation in addressing matters related to Federal departments and promised to coordinate with the concerned institutions to facilitate solutions. The governor said every available resource would be utilized to help resolve the difficulties faced by the people.
