All ongoing development projects to be completed on time: MPA Burhan Khan

LARKANA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Apr, 2026) An important meeting was held under the chairmanship of MPA (PS-17) Talukas Warah and Naseerabad, Nawabzada Burhan Khan Chandio, regarding the ongoing development schemes in his constituency.

The meeting took place in the Durbar Hall of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Office, Qambar on Saturday. It was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner-I Zohaib Zameer Odhano, officials and workers associated with the Pakistan Peoples Party, and representatives from various government departments.

During the meeting, Burhan Khan Chandio conducted a detailed review of the ongoing development projects in his constituency and questioned the relevant officials.

On the occasion, he was briefed that a total of 331 development schemes are underway under the Public Health Engineering Division, Qambar Shahdadkot. These include, 20 schemes under the Provincial ADP, 33 SDGs / PHED schemes, 14 SDGs / SAP schemes, 25 Rehabilitation Phase-I schemes, 14 Rehabilitation Phase-II schemes, 7 Elimination Phase-I schemes, 7 Elimination Phase-II schemes, 211 District ADP schemes.

The briefing further stated that the total cost of these projects is Rs. 12,809.245 million, while Rs. 5,615.566 million have been allocated for the year 2025-26, of which Rs. 2,785.401 million have been released. Regarding expenditures, it was reported that up to June 2025, Rs. 2,170.528 million were spent, during the current fiscal year Rs. 1,974.402 million have been spent, and a total of Rs. 4,145.930 million have been expended so far.

During the meeting, MPA Burhan Khan Chandio issued directives, stating that all ongoing development projects should be completed on time and that no compromise on quality should be made, so that the public can be ensured the provision of clean, safe, and healthy drinking water and other basic facilities.

He further stated that any delay or negligence in development work would not be tolerated, and that relevant officials should further improve their performance to provide better facilities to the people of the constituency.
