All-out cleanliness operation continues across Faisalabad on Eidul Azha

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th May, 2026) The district administration continued an extensive cleanliness drive across Faisalabad

on the second day of Eidul Azha as sanitation teams remained active in removing sacrificial

animal waste, washing roads and ensuring a hygienic environment throughout the city.

A spokesman of local administration said here on Thursday that Suthra Punjab Agency (SPA)

carried out large-scale cleaning operations on major roads, markets and inner streets while

sanitation workers washed various areas with rose water and phenyl to control foul smell

and maintain cleanliness during Eid days.

He said that animal offal and waste were being lifted promptly from different parts of the city

and shifted to designated dumping sites for proper disposal in order to prevent environmental

pollution and public inconvenience.

He said that special sanitation teams and machinery remained operational round the clock

to ensure uninterrupted cleanliness arrangements while monitoring of the operation was also

continuing in various localities.

Eid cleanliness campaign would continue on the third day of Eidul Azha as well and all available

resources had been mobilized to keep the city neat, clean and environmentally safe for the citizens,

he added.

He also appealed to the people to cooperate with sanitation staff and dispose of sacrificial

waste at designated points to help maintain cleanliness and public hygiene during Eid days.
