All transport suspended across Rawalpindi with Immediate effect: DC

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Hassan Waqar Cheema said that all private, public and goods transport in Rawalpindi have been suspended with immediate effect until further orders.

According to an official statement on Sunday, the movement across the city has been completely halted. Further instructions will be issued as the situation evolves, and citizens are advised to avoid unnecessary travel and follow official updates, it said.
