Alleged drug supplier to students arrested in Taxila, recovered three kilograms of hashish

WAH CANTT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Jul, 2026) Police have arrested a suspected drug dealer on Sunday allegedly involved in supplying narcotics to students of educational institutions and other consumers during an intelligence-based operation in Taxila.

According to APP correspondent, the FIR states that the suspect, identified as Muhammad Rizwan, was apprehended following a tip-off. Police claimed to have recovered approximately three kilograms of hashish from his possession, which was seized as evidence after completing the required legal formalities at the scene.

The suspect allegedly admitted to supplying narcotics to students of educational institutions as well as to other individuals in the area.

Police further said that information provided by the suspect has led investigators to identify an alleged facilitator, who is now being included in the ongoing investigation.

A case has been registered against the suspect under the relevant provisions of the Control of Narcotic Substances Act (CNSA), and further investigation is underway.
