Amir Muqam condoles death of Iftikhar Ahmed’s brother

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jun, 2026) Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON, Engineer Amir Muqam, on Wednesday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of the brother of senior journalist and anchorperson Iftikhar Ahmed.

In a condolence message issued in Islamabad, the minister extended heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul, while assuring the family of his support during this difficult time.

Expressing profound sadness over the loss, Amir Muqam conveyed his condolences to Iftikhar Ahmed and other members of the grieving family.

He said the death of a loved one is an irreplaceable loss and a moment of immense sorrow for the entire family.

The federal minister prayed that Almighty Allah may grant the deceased a place in His eternal mercy and bestow patience and strength upon the bereaved family, relatives and friends.

He particularly prayed for Iftikhar Ahmed to be granted the courage to bear this loss with fortitude and dignity.

Amir Muqam said his thoughts and sympathies are with the mourning family during this time of grief and trial.

He also prayed that Allah Almighty may bless the departed soul with the highest ranks in Jannah and grant the family patience and perseverance.
