ANF arrests seven suspects, seizes drugs worth over Rs 2.3 million

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jul, 2026) The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on Friday conducted four operations across the country and arrested seven suspects, including three women, and recovered 24.65 kilograMS(kg) narcotics worth more than Rs 2.3 million.

According to the ANF, during an operation near Shikarpur Road in Sukkur district, 15 kg hashish were recovered from a passenger van and two suspects were arrested.

In another operation near Risalpur in Nowshera district, 8.4 kg hashish were seized from the possession of three women.

Similarly, the ANF recovered 1.2 kg of hashish from a motorcyclist near Canal Road in Faisalabad district and apprehended the accused.

In Islamabad, 50 grams of cocaine were recovered from the possession of an accused near Chungi No. 26.

Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act (CNSA), 1997, and further investigations are underway.
