ANF seizes 115 kg drugs in four operations

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Apr, 2026) Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) while conducting four operations across the country against drug traffickers recovered 115 kg drugs worth more than Rs 10 million and arrested five suspects including a woman.

According to an ANF Headquarters spokesman, in an operation near Motorway Toll Plaza, Islamabad, 4.8 kg hashish was recovered from a vehicle and two accused were arrested.

Near Burhan Motorway Toll Plaza, 1.2 kg hashish was seized from the possession of a woman traveling in public van.

In third operation conducted near Sanjwal District Ziarat, 4 kg opium was recovered from a vehicle and two accused were rounded up.

In an other operation near District Nokundi, 105 kg opium was recovered from a vehicle.

The spokesman informed that separate cases have been registered against the accused under the CNSA-1997.
