ATTOCK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Mar, 2026) Al-Sadiq Public Secondary School Attock here on Friday organized a prestigious Annual Parents Day and prize Distribution ceremony, featuring former Federal Minister and Member of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed, as the chief guest. The event aimed to recognize the academic and co-curricular achievements of students throughout the year.

Addressing the ceremony, Principal Saleem Shahzad highlighted the institution's educational vision in an era dominated by science and technology. He emphasized that the school is providing state-of-the-art laboratory and computer facilities to equip students with modern skills and English language proficiency, while remaining deeply committed to Islamic values. Highlighting the school’s dual-focus curriculum, he stated that Tajweed-e-Quran has been made mandatory to ensure the new generation remains connected to its roots, ultimately producing successful professionals who are also practicing Muslims.

Chief Guest Sheikh Aftab Ahmed reflected on the historical significance of the Pakistan Movement and the pivotal educational contributions of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan.

Describing education as the Primary force behind the creation of Pakistan, he remarked that the country’s survival and future stability continue to depend on it. He further lauded the fundamental role of mothers and teachers, noting that while a mother’s lap serves as a child’s first school, teachers nurture them into visionary leaders of the caliber of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal. Describing Pakistan as a divine blessing, he urged the youth to empower themselves with knowledge to ensure national prosperity.

The event featured vibrant tableaus and patriotic songs performed by the students, receiving widespread acclaim from the audience. The proceedings concluded with the distribution of shields and awards among high achievers of the annual examinations, followed by the National Anthem as participants stood in a collective display of national solidarity. Principal Saleem Shahzad concluded the event by thanking the guests and parents, reaffirming the school's commitment to maintaining uncompromising educational standards.
