Annual prize distribution of SPS held

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Feb, 2026) The Annual prize Distribution Ceremony of Sadiq Public School Bahawalpur was held at the amphitheater of the school. Old Sadiqian from the pioneer batch of Sadiq Public School, renowned writer, artist and travel blogger Akhtar Mamunka was the chief guest.

Addressing the ceremony, he said that as a Sadiqian, he shares a deep and historic connection with the school, adding that Sadiq Public School played a vital role in shaping his journey and achievements. He congratulated the students, staff and especially parents on their collective success.

During the ceremony, more than 350 students were awarded prizes, shields and gold medals for outstanding performance in academic, co-curricular and extracurricular activities. The chief guest praised the students’ achievements and extended heartfelt congratulations to the award recipients.

The inaugural Chamion House Shield presented by Class of 2001 was awarded to Mahmud House for outstanding overall performance in academics, sports and co-curriculur.

The shield was presented by Old Sadiqians, Muhammad Ali Zamir and Syed Ali Bukhari, on behalf of Class of 2001. Along with students, the school staff were also given certificates for the first time for their outstanding performances.

The event celebrated excellence in education and highlighted the school’s continued contribution to academic development in Bahawalpur. The event was attended by Acting Principal Mian Muhammad Ahmad, Bursar Bushra Qazi, senior Old Sadiqians, teachers, students, and school staff.
