Another cop abducted from Lakki Marwat

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Apr, 2026) Another incident of a police official's abduction has been reported from Lakki Marwat, raising serious concerns about security in the region and spreading fear among residents.

According to police report on Tuesday, unidentified armed men kidnapped a police official from the district. The abducted cop, identified as Siddiq Khan, was a jail police official posted at Karak and had returned to his hometown on leave. He belonged to the village of Abdul Khel.

The incident took place near Ahmed Khel village, where the assailants carried out the abduction and fled the scene immediately after committing the crime.

Following the incident, police cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to recover the Kidnapped cop.

It is worth noting that just a day earlier, an official of the Anti-Narcotics Force, Fareedullah, was abducted and later killed in the same area. The victim also belonged to Abdul Khel and a video allegedly related to the incident had circulated on social media.
