Anti-dengue campaign intensified

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st May, 2026) Additional Deputy Commissioner General Dr Ayesha Khan has said that, in accordance with the directives of the Government of Punjab, the anti-dengue campaign is being carried out vigorously across the district, while all concerned departments are actively performing their roles to control the spread of dengue.

She expressed these views while chairing a meeting of the Dengue Review Committee, which was attended by officials from the Health Department, education Department, Municipal Corporation, Rescue 1122, and other relevant institutions.

During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted of ongoing anti-dengue measures, surveillance activities, and preventive arrangements across the district.

Addressing the participants, Dr Ayesha Khan stated that the government of Punjab is pursuing an effective and comprehensive strategy for the complete eradication of dengue, and all departments must further intensify their efforts to achieve this objective.
