FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Apr, 2026) A meeting of the district emergency response committee for dengue control discussed
various issues pertaining to the surveillance of dengue and its larvae.
The meeting chaired by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Anwar Ali reviewed the anti-dengue measures across the district on Wednesday.
The ADCG directed that hot spots should be closely monitored for dengue prevention and 100 percent checking of these places should be ensured in every case.
He said that indoor and outdoor surveillance should be further intensified so that timely identification and destruction of dengue larvae could be made possible.
He directed that special focus should be given on high-risk union councils and the performance of the teams.
