Anti-encroachment drive yields concrete results

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Apr, 2026) The district administration continues its vigorous anti-encroachment campaign following the directives provincial government.

In this regard, under the leadership of assistant commissioner Daraban, a major operation was conducted on in the area of Choudhwan, Tehsil Daraban, during which illegal encroachments on government land were removed.

A total of 133 kanal 15 marla of government land was recovered, and possession was immediately taken on behalf of the government.

Breakdown of the land value indicates that 35 Kanal of the recovered land is estimated at Rs11.2 million, while the remaining 98 Kanal 15 Marla is valued at Rs 3.3575 million. This brings the total estimated value of the recovered land to Rs14.5575 million.

The district administration has emphasized that the anti-encroachment campaign will continue across the district without exception, and any illegal occupation of government land will not be tolerated.
