Anti-Narcotics awareness flag march held

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st May, 2026) An awareness flag march was organized here on Thursday under the auspices

of Narcotics Control Station Sargodha Division as part of an ongoing campaign

against drug abuse.

The march was led by Director Narcotics Control Station Sargodha Division,

Lt Col (Retd) Jawad Masood, and attended by officers and personnel of the

department.

The purpose of rally was to raise awareness among the youth and the general

public about the harmful effects of narcotics and to reinforce the collective

commitment to building a drug-free society.

Speaking on the occasion, Lt. Col. (R) Jawad Masood said that narcotics

pose a serious threat not only to the younger generation but also to the future

of society as a whole.

He emphasized that effective public cooperation was essential to eliminate

the menace of drugs.

He further stated that Punjab Counter Narcotics Force would continue its

operations against drug traffickers alongside public awareness campaigns

aimed at preventing drug abuse.

Participants of the march also reaffirmed their commitment to the vision

of a “Drug-Free Punjab, Healthy and Safe Punjab.”
