Anti-Terrorism Court Larkana awarded 07 years prison for possessing hand grenades

LARKANA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Feb, 2026) The Anti-Terrorism Court in Larkana has sentenced a defendant to 7 years in prison for the proven crime of possessing hand grenades on Tuesday.

A hearing was held in the court of Anti-Terrorism Judge Altaf Hussain Dayo regarding a case registered 7 months ago at the Hatri Ghulam Shah police station. The court sentenced the defendant, Imtiaz Ali Sahito, to 7 years in prison after the crime was proven.

It is pertinent to mention that 7 months ago, police from the Hatri Ghulam Shah station arrested the defendant, Imtiaz Ali Suhoto, a resident of Mehrabpur town in Naushahro Feroze district, from the Larkana-Khairpur bridge area.

They recovered 3 hand grenades from his possession and filed a case against him under the Explosives Act on behalf of the state, sending him to jail. The case was heard, where upon proof of guilt, the court's judge announced this decision.
