September 9 is being seen as the most probable date for the launch event.

Apple’s WWDC 2026 event has provided strong indications about the possible launch timeline for the upcoming iPhone 18 series, including the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and potentially Apple’s first foldable iPhone.

Following the keynote on June 8, Apple released the first iOS 27 developer beta, with the company confirming that the public beta will arrive in July. Analysts say this faster software rollout suggests Apple may shift its traditional fall product launch slightly earlier than usual.

Based on the company’s typical release pattern, industry insiders expect the next major Apple event to take place in early September 2026. However, since September 8 falls close to the US Labor Day holiday, it is considered unlikely. Instead, September 9 is being seen as the most probable date for the launch event, as Apple often prefers mid-week announcements.

If this schedule is followed, pre-orders for the iPhone 18 series could begin around September 11, with shipping and first deliveries expected the following week.

The upcoming lineup is expected to feature major hardware improvements along with advanced Apple Intelligence and upgraded Siri AI capabilities. The possible introduction of a foldable iPhone has also generated significant excitement in the tech industry, with many viewing it as one of Apple’s most important launches in recent years.

Although Apple has not officially confirmed any dates, the WWDC 2026 software timeline has strengthened expectations of a major September unveiling.
