Armed forces fully capable of responding to any aggression: VC FUUAST

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th May, 2026) Renowned scientist and Vice Chancellor (VC) Federal urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST), Prof. Dr. Zabta Khan Shinwari, stated that Youm-e-Takbeer was a historic and unforgettable day in Pakistan’s history when the extraordinary capabilities of the national leadership, scientists, and armed forces placed Pakistan among the world’s invincible nuclear powers.

In his message on Youm-e-Takbeer, he said that the day represented gratitude to Almighty Allah, national unity, and the renewal of the commitment to defend the country.

He remarked that Pakistan was a strong, sovereign, and unconquerable state, and the world acknowledged that the country possessed full capability to defend its land, air, and maritime borders.

Prof. Dr. Zabta Khan Shinwari said that Pakistan’s brave armed forces were fully equipped with the strength and professional expertise to give a befitting response to any aggression.

He paid tribute to the military leadership and stated that Pakistan’s armed forces had always rendered historic sacrifices for the security, stability, and peace of the homeland.

He further said that under the leadership of Field Marshal, General Asim Munir, Pakistan’s defense had been strengthened further and the country’s prestige had risen globally.

According to him, the world today recognized Pakistan’s military strategy, defense capability, and its constructive role for peace.

The Vice Chancellor stated that Pakistan was a peace-loving country that sought peace, stability, and brotherhood in the region and across the world. However, if any hostile force attempted aggression, Pakistan’s armed forces knew how to respond effectively with full strength and determination.

He added that the entire nation stood firmly united with its armed forces like a solid wall.

He further remarked that celebrating Youm-e-Takbeer with enthusiasm across the country was aimed at paying tribute to the martyrs and veterans of the armed forces and inspiring the younger generation with patriotism, national pride, and the spirit of defending the homeland.

He said that the nation would never forget the sacrifices of its defenders and Pakistan would always remain strong, secure, and proud.
