Aror University Students Visit SSP Office, Awareness & Training Workshop on Policing Held Under Internship Program

SUKKUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jul, 2026) Students of Aror University visited the SSP Office Sukkur as part of their internship program, where an awareness and training workshop on policing was organized in the conference hall here on Thursday.

During the workshop, DSP, Manahil Sheikh gave a detailed briefing to the students on the basic duties of the police, the role of law enforcement agencies, maintenance of law and order, crime prevention, the investigation system, community policing, modern policing requirements, public service and protection of life and property of citizens.

She informed the students that Sindh Police is working round the clock for the protection of life and property of the people, supremacy of law and establishment of a peaceful society.

She emphasized that the younger generation should adopt abiding by the law, social responsibility and positive cooperation with national institutions as their way of life.

At the end of the workshop, students asked various questions which were answered in detail by the DSP. The students highly appreciated the professional performance of Sukkur Police, its public-friendly initiatives and this informative and training workshop, stating that such programs play an important role in creating positive awareness among students about the role of police, importance of law and civic responsibilities.

In the end, the students thanked the Sukkur Police and expressed their desire for holding such awareness and training workshops in the future as well.
