KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th May, 2026) Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi ‘s three-day “Arts Alumni Festival,” concluded with a vibrant cultural celebration marking the first anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq,” during which glowing tributes were paid to the Pakistan Armed Forces through various artistic performances.
A cake-cutting ceremony was also held to commemorate the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, President Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, Muhammad Ahmed Shah, said that various academies, including music, fine arts, theatre, and dance, are actively functioning at the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, where young people are being trained in fine arts and prepared for the practical field.
He said that their effort is to provide students with a platform where they can polish their abilities and earn a respectable place in the industry.

He said that the country had faced various challenges in the past; however, Pakistan has always played a strong and effective role in its defense.
He paid tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces. He further said that under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the armed forces have strengthened the country’s defense and dignity, due to which Pakistan’s name has risen further in the world.
He said that the sacrifices of the martyrs are a beacon of light for the nation. He paid tribute to the families of the martyrs, especially mothers, daughters, and wives.
