Ashhad Abbasi commends local administration for flawless Eid-ul-Azha arrangements

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st May, 2026) Former Cantonment board Hyderabad (CBH) opposition leader Qazi Ashhad Abbasi on Sunday commended the local administration and utility services for ensuring flawless civic arrangements on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

Abbasi extended special praise to the Hyderabad district administration, the District Police, the Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO), and the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board (SSWMB) for their coordinated efforts in maintaining security, power supply, and sanitation across the city.

According to a press release, Sunday Qazi Ashahd felicitated the officers and staff of the district administration, District Police Hyderabad, HESCO and Sindh Solid Waste Management, 1122 Rescue and other law enforcement agencies for providing the best facilities to the citizens, maintaining law and order, cleanliness and uninterrupted supply of electricity on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

SSP Hyderabad Shahzeb Chachar and his entire team ensured the protection of the lives and property of the citizens by making effective security arrangements during Eid.

He appreciated the professional capabilities and services of the police force and said that the role of the police in public safety is laudable.

Qazi also congratulated Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad Zain-ul- Aabideen Memon and said that the district administration adopted the best administrative strategy during Eid days.

Paying tribute to HESCO Chief Executive Officer Faizullah Dihri and his team, he said that the steps taken to improve power supply and timely redressal of complaints on the occasion of Eid are commendable.

He also appreciated the services of the officers and sanitation staff of the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board and said that special steps were taken to dispose of the excrement of sacrificial animals and other waste in a timely manner, which helped in keeping the city clean and the environment better.

The mutual cooperation and spirit of public service of all the relevant institutions on a major religious festival like Eid-ul-Adha is exemplary.

He congratulates all those officers, officials and workers who performed their responsibilities well and provided the citizens with the opportunity to celebrate a peaceful and happy Eid.
