ATC adjourns Falak Javed’s post-arrest bail hearing till April 28

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Apr, 2026) An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of the post-arrest bail application of PTI activist Falak Javed, sister of Sanam Javed, in the Zaman Park attack case until April 28.

ATC Judge Manzer Ali Gill presided over the proceedings. During the hearing, senior defence counsel Mian Ali Ashfaq did not appear to advance arguments. A junior lawyer appeared on his behalf and sought time, which the court granted while adjourning the matter.

The court also directed the prosecution to produce the complete record of the case at the next hearing.

Falak Javed has filed her bail application through counsel, contending that the investigation has been completed and requesting her release on bail.

According to the prosecution, the accused was involved in an attack on Islamabad police officials in Zaman Park. The FIR alleges that a petrol bomb was recovered from her possession.

The case states that Islamabad police had arrived at the residence of the PTI founder to comply with summons when allegedly charged workers resorted to violence, hurling petrol bombs and injuring police personnel.

The case has been registered at Race Course Police Station under FIR No. 410/23.
