ATC adjourns Falak Javed’s post-arrest bail plea till May 11 in Zaman Park attack case

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Monday adjourned the hearing of the post-arrest bail application of PTI activist Falak Javed till May 11 in a case related to an alleged attack on Islamabad police in Zaman Park

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th May, 2026) An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Monday adjourned the hearing of the post-arrest bail application of PTI activist Falak Javed till May 11 in a case related to an alleged attack on Islamabad police in Zaman Park.

ATC Judge Manzer Ali Gill conducted the proceedings, during which the prosecution sought time to produce the case record. Accepting the request, the court directed the prosecution to submit the record at the next hearing and deferred further proceedings.

Falak Javed, currently on judicial remand in jail, had filed her bail petition through counsel.

Her lawyer argued that the investigation has been completed and requested the court to grant bail.

According to the FIR, the accused is allegedly involved in an attack on Islamabad police officials who had arrived at the residence of the PTI founder to comply with summons. During the incident, charged workers allegedly hurled petrol bombs, injuring police personnel.

The case has been registered at Race Course Police Station under FIR No. 410/23.
