LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Jun, 2026) An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Tuesday sentenced two accused, allegedly linked to

a proscribed organisation, to five years' rigorous imprisonment each in separate cases

involving the recovery of explosive material.

ATC Judge Malik Abid Hussain announced the verdict and also ordered the confiscation

of the convicts' properties in favour of the state. The accused, Abdul Baith and Kaleem Ullah,

were produced before the court from jail when the judgment was announced.

During the trial, Prosecutor Mian Tufail argued that explosive material had been recovered

from the possession of the accused and that they were allegedly involved in terrorist activities

while maintaining links with a proscribed organisation.
