ATC extends interim bail of PTI leaders until July 23

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st May, 2026) An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad on Thursday extended the interim bail of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders and lawmakers until July 23 in cases pertaining to the November 26 protest and other related protests.

Judge Abual Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain heard the cases, which included 243 bail applications filed by PTI leaders. The court granted an extension on the interim bail of all accused until July 23.

During the hearing, PTI MNAs Umer Niazi, Latif Khosa, Junaid Akbar, Arbab Sher Ali, Sajid Khan Mohmand, and Senator Falk Naz Chitrali appeared before the court.

Other leaders present included Khurram Sher Zaman, Raja Basharat, Rauf Hassan, Niazullah Niazi, Nadia Khattak, former Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi, Simabia Tahir, and Tahir Sadiq.

Cases against the PTI leaders have been registered at various police stations, including Kohsar, Khanna, Tarnol, Karachi Company, and Secretariat.
