ATC grants bail to 26 TLP workers in arson, police attack case

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Mar, 2026) An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Wednesday granted bail to 26 workers of Proscribed Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan in a case related to arson, vandalism and alleged attacks on police.

The court ordered the release of each accused against surety bonds of Rs 100,000.

Anti-terrorism court judge announced the verdict after hearing arguments from both the prosecution and defence on the post-arrest bail petitions filed by the accused from jail.

Among those granted bail are Muhammad Ejaz, Hafiz Khizar Abbas, Abid Ali, Danish Ali, Muhammad Muzammil, Muhammad Shahzad, Muhammad Dilshad, Fahm Ashraf, Zain Fareed, Abdullah, Zahid Naseem, Malik Ishtiaq, Muhammad Abrar, Rehman, Adnan Hussain, Bilal Khan, Syed Hassan Shah, Irfan Saeed, Muhammad Asghar, and Ghulam Yahya.

According to the prosecution, a case has been registered against the accused at Shahdara Police Station, where they are alleged to have been involved in violence against police, arson and vandalism.
