LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Apr, 2026) An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Tuesday granted bail to 26 workers of proscribed Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) in cases related to arson, rioting, and alleged attacks on police. The court directed all accused to furnish surety bonds of Rs100,000 each to secure their release.
ATC Judge Manzer Ali Gill heard the bail petitions, which had been filed by the accused.
Among those granted bail are Hamza Younis, Shah Nawaz, Daniyal, Zakir Mahmood, Muhammad Faiz, Muhammad Riaz, Ghulam Murtaza, Owais, Nauman, Muhammad Umar, Adnan, Qamar, Ubaidullah, Abdul Qadir, Waseem-ul-Haq, Rizwan Riaz, Muzammil, Nauman Ashraf, Ahmad Ali, Sohail, and Zeeshan.
According to the prosecution, cases against the accused have been registered at Shahdara, Nawan Kot, and City Muridke police stations. The accused are facing charges of violence against police personnel as well as involvement in arson and rioting.
