Attock administration reviews Eid security plan, calls for foolproof arrangements

ATTOCK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th May, 2026) Additional Deputy Commissioner General Anil Saeed on Monday chaired a high-level meeting at the Deputy Commissioner Office to review law and order arrangements ahead of Eid-ul-Azha, with participation from police, civil defence and other relevant departments.

The meeting conducted a detailed review of the overall security situation, arrangements for Eid-ul-Azha, monitoring of sensitive locations, deployment at joint check posts, and measures to ensure public safety during the festive period. Officials also discussed the security of cattle markets, mosques and other crowded public places.

Anil Saeed directed all departments to ensure foolproof security arrangements across the district and maintain close coordination among law enforcement agencies and civil administration. He stressed the importance of enhanced vigilance and effective joint operations at key points.

Reiterating the administration’s commitment, he said all available resources would be utilized to safeguard the lives and property of citizens and ensure a peaceful environment throughout the district during Eid-ul-Azha celebrations.
