Attock Police continued their crackdown on proclaimed offenders, arresting seven suspects wanted in cases of robbery, theft, cheque dishonour, and other crimes

ATTOCK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Apr, 2026) Attock Police continued their crackdown on proclaimed offenders, arresting seven suspects wanted in cases of robbery, theft, cheque dishonour, and other crimes.

The arrests were made during coordinated operations across different areas of Attock district, officials said Friday.

Jand Police traced and arrested Imtiaz Hussain, a Category “A” proclaimed offender wanted in a 2024 robbery case registered under Section 392 of the Pakistan Penal Code.

The suspect had been absconding since the case was filed. In a separate action, Hazro Police arrested proclaimed offender Muhammad Ijaz, wanted in a 2024 case under Section 382 PPC.

Hassanabdal Police also apprehended Ejaz Khan in connection with a 2025 cheque dishonour case.

New Airport Police arrested Hayat Muhammad, a resident of Upper Dir, in a 2023 theft case.

He had been evading arrest since the registration of the case.In a major coordinated operation, Basal Police arrested four more proclaimed offenders linked to a theft case registered earlier this year.

The arrested individuals were identified as Qaim Ali and Muslim Ali, both residents of Tirah, and Asin Ali and Rafiq Hussain, both from Kurram Agency.

Police officials said all arrested suspects have been handed over to investigation teams. Further inquiries are underway to uncover additional links and recover stolen property.
