Attock police arrest six proclaimed offenders in district-wide crackdown

ATTOCK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Apr, 2026) Attock Police have arrested six proclaimed offenders during a coordinated crackdown across the district, targeting individuals wanted in murder, attempted murder, robbery, and theft cases, police said on Wednesday.

According to a police spokesperson, Basal Police arrested Muhammad Hassan, who was wanted in a 2025 murder case. Authorities also recovered a 30-bore pistol allegedly used in the crime during the operation. In another action, Pindigheb Police apprehended Tallat Hussain, a suspect in an attempted murder case.

In separate operations, Injra Police arrested Muhammad Altaf, wanted in a robbery case, while Jand Police detained Fakhar Yaqub, also involved in robbery.

Police said stolen property worth Rs0.5 million was recovered from his possession. The same team also arrested Mehmmod, a resident of Kohat, who was wanted in a separate robbery case and declared a proclaimed offender by the court.

Meanwhile, Hassanabdal Police arrested Safdar Shah, who was wanted in a theft case. Police officials said the crackdown against proclaimed offenders will continue across the district using all available resources to ensure law and order.
