Attock police arrest three category-A proclaimed offenders in separate operations

ATTOCK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Jun, 2026) Attock Police have achieved a significant breakthrough in their ongoing crackdown against wanted criminals by arresting three Category-A proclaimed offenders in separate operations conducted in the districts of Jand and Fateh Jang.

According to police sources, a team of Basal Police led by SHO Sub-Inspector Ghulam Jafar successfully apprehended two suspects wanted in connection with a murder case registered in 2025. The accused, identified as Kamran and Muhammad Iqbal, were traced and arrested with the help of modern technology and intelligence-based policing.

The suspects, originally belonging to Peshawar, were residing in Basal, Tehsil Jand, while evading arrest.

They were wanted in connection with FIR No. 95 of 2025 involving a murder case and had been on the police radar for a considerable period.

In a separate operation, Fateh Jang Police arrested another proclaimed offender, Irfan, a resident of Mohalla Nai Abadi, Fateh Jang. The suspect was wanted in a robbery case registered in 2024 and had also been declared a Category-A proclaimed offender.

Police officials stated that all three suspects had been absconding for an extended period and were among the most wanted individuals in their respective cases.
