Attock Police crack down on drug trafficking, arrest three suspects with 2.78 kilograms of hashish

ATTOCK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jun, 2026) Attock Police on Wednesday intensified their anti-narcotics campaign by arresting three alleged drug traffickers in separate operations across the district and recovering a total of 2,780 grams of hashish from their possession.

According to police sources, Assistant Sub-Inspector Muhammad Mizan of City Hassan Abdal Police Station, along with his team, recovered 1,420 grams of hashish during a checking operation from a suspect identified as Naqash, a resident of Housing Colony, Hassan Abdal. The accused was taken into custody and a case was registered against him.

In another successful operation, Assistant Sub-Inspector Muhammad Arslan and his team from Hazro Police Station recovered 700 grams of hashish from Shakir Hussain, a resident of Ahmed Abad Saman in Tehsil Hazro.

The suspect was arrested on the spot and legal proceedings were initiated under relevant laws.

Meanwhile, Sub-Inspector Muhammad Arif of Fateh Jang Police Station, assisted by his team, recovered 660 grams of hashish from Noor Hussain, a resident of Karam Khan Road, Fateh Jang. Police arrested the suspect and shifted him to the police station for further investigation. Authorities said a cumulative 2.78 kilograms of hashish was seized during the operations, while separate cases have been registered against all three accused as part of the district-wide drive against narcotics.
