AUST, KPEZDMC deliberate on technical collaboration

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Apr, 2026) Prof. Dr. Tahir Irfan Khan, Vice-Chancellor of Abbottabad University of Science & Technology, along with Engr. Dr. Ijaz Ali, visited Hattar Economic Zone to foster stronger collaboration between academia and industry.

Facilitated by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development and Management Company (KPEZDMC), the delegation was briefed on the Zone’s growing industrial ecosystem and ongoing development initiatives supported by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The visit included interactions with key industrial units, where participants explored opportunities for technical collaboration, innovation, and knowledge exchange—aimed at enhancing industrial productivity and long-term growth.

Talking on the occasion, the officials of KPEZDMC said that the company is committed to enabling meaningful partnerships that connect academia with industry, driving sustainable economic development across the province.
