According to sources, the case emerged following a complaint received by the board of Intermediate and Secondary education Shaheed Benazirabad, prompting police to take immediate action. Reports indicate that during the 2026 examinations, certain individuals allegedly collected money from candidates in exchange for solving exam papers and assisting them in cheating through mobile phones.

The incident reportedly took place near Hospital Road, outside the gate of DC school. The complaint includes the Names and mobile numbers of multiple suspects, who are accused of running an organized operation to help candidates cheat in exams for financial gain. Police have registered a case and begun investigations, while officials have said that strict legal action will be taken against those found involved. Authorities have reiterated that corruption in the examination system will not be tolerated under any circumstances and emphasized their commitment to ensuring merit and transparency.
