SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Apr, 2026) An awareness session regarding the 6th International Student Convention & Expo 2026 was successfully organized at the Students’ Societies Center, Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Khairpur on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ali Raza Lashari, Coordinator Students’ Societies Center welcomed the guests and participants. He highlighted that Vice Chancellor, Meritorious Prof Dr Yousuf Khushk has always encouraged students to actively participate in co-curricular and national-level activities for their academic and professional development.
Dr Lashari also acknowledged the remarkable contributions of Mohammad Murtaza Noor said that his leading role in organizing various student conventions across Pakistan and his continuous support for youth development is highly commendable and will always be remembered.
The session was conducted by Saad Khalil, Volunteer Team Lead from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad. He briefed the students on the objectives, significance, and opportunities associated with the upcoming International Student Convention and Expo and guided them regarding the registration process, encouraging active participation through completion of proformas.
A large number of student leaders, society representatives, and faculty members attended the session including Rabia Mughal and Tamseel Fatima.
A delegation from Quaid-e-Azam University also participated, making the event a vibrant platform for inter-university collaboration and academic dialogue.
During the session, visiting students Mashahood Ahmed, Abdul Moiz Mangi and Abdul Rehman Khokhar shared their valuable experiences and insights regarding international-level conventions, emphasizing their role in leadership development, networking, and academic exposure.
The discussion focused on strengthening coordination among universities and ensuring meaningful participation in the upcoming convention. Participants stressed the importance of youth engagement, teamwork, and collaborative initiatives in building a progressive and dynamic society.
Both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring the success of the convention, which is scheduled to be held in Islamabad. Faculty members appreciated the enthusiasm and active involvement of students and highlighted the significance of such initiatives in promoting unity, learning and national level representation.
The session concluded with a shared vision of active participation, effective coordination and continued collaboration for the success of the 6th International Student Convention and Expo 2026.
