Azerbaijan Ambassador, US Consulate official offer condolences to PA Speaker

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Apr, 2026) Azerbaijan’s Ambassador Khazar Farhadov met Punjab Assembly (PA) Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan at the Speaker’s House on Thursday. He expressed heartfelt condolences on the demise of the Speaker's sister.

The Ambassador also offered prayers for the departed soul and her eternal peace.

On the occasion, Azerbaijan Trading & Diplomatic President Adeel Shuja Butt and Azerbaijan House Spokesperson Hafiz Muhammad Usman Shafiq were also present.

Later, Political and Economic Specialist at the US Consulate Lahore Sadaf Saad, also met Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan and conveyed condolences on behalf of the US Consul General Lahore on the passing of the Speaker's sister.

She offered prayers for the departed soul. Principal Secretary to the Speaker, Amad Hussain Bhalli, was also present on the occasion.
