Balochistan attack martyr laid to rest with full military honours in Mirpurkhas

Pakistan Army soldier Abdul Shakoor Panhwar, who was martyred in a terrorist attack in Bela district of Balochistan, was laid to rest with full military honours in his hometown of Mirpurkhas on Thursday

MIRPURKHAS, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Jul, 2026) Pakistan Army soldier Abdul Shakoor Panhwar, who was martyred in a terrorist attack in Bela district of Balochistan, was laid to rest with full military honours in his hometown of Mirpurkhas on Thursday.

His funeral prayers were offered on Public school Road and attended by Pakistan Army officers, Senior Superintendent of Police Syed Fida Hussain Shah, political, social and religious leaders, and a large number of local residents. Following the prayers, the martyr was buried at the Military Graveyard, where a Pakistan Army contingent presented a ceremonial salute in recognition of his sacrifice in the line of duty.

A large crowd gathered to pay its respects, with mourners expressing solidarity with the bereaved family and offering prayers for the martyr's eternal peace. Family members displayed resilience during the funeral as condolences poured in from officials and members of the public.
