Balochistan Finance Minister reviews preparations for upcoming budget

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jun, 2026) Provincial Minister for Finance and Minerals, Mir Shoaib Nosherwani, held a detailed meeting with Finance Secretary Jahangir Kakar to review preparations for the upcoming fiscal year 2026–27 budget and discuss key financial matters.

During the meeting, both sides examined budgetary priorities, development projects, and the needs of various sectors. It was agreed that effective measures would be taken to strengthen the development sector in the new budget, accelerating progress across the province and ensuring improved facilities for the public.

Minister Shoaib Nosherwani emphasized that special attention would be given to education and health, with resources allocated on a priority basis to provide quality education and modern healthcare facilities.

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to advancing human development and welfare initiatives for the people of Balochistan.

The meeting also highlighted the importance of financial discipline and austerity. Both sides agreed to reduce unnecessary expenditures and channel available resources toward development and welfare projects.
