Balochistan government suspends principal over misuse of college bus

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Apr, 2026) The Balochistan government has taken strict notice of the alleged misuse of a government vehicle belonging to the Government Girls College, Barkhan and has suspended the college principal for 90 days.

The action follows a video that went viral on social media, highlighting the alleged improper use of the official bus.

In response, the Secretary of Higher education of Balochistan ordered the immediate suspension of the principal and directed a formal inquiry into the matter.

According to an official statement from the Higher Education Department, a comprehensive investigation has been initiated, and relevant authorities have been instructed to prepare a detailed report to be submitted to senior officials.

The provincial government reiterated its zero-tolerance policy against the illegal use of public resources, stressing that strict action will be taken against any such violations.
