Balochistan Govt addressing shortage of petrol in province: Babar

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jun, 2026) Assistant to Home Department of Balochistan Government Babar Yousafzai on Wednesday said that the provincial government was taking effective steps to eliminate the temporary difficulties faced by the supply of petroleum products in the province.

He said that in this regard, the Federal Ministry of Petroleum had also been informed of the situation and was in constant contact. He mentioned that Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti and Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan were personally monitoring the matter.

Babar said that as a result of government measures, the problem of shortage and disruption in supply of petrol would be completely resolved by tomorrow night, God willing, and the public would be ensured the availability of petroleum products as usual. He said that the provincial government was well aware of the difficulties faced by the public and was utilizing all available resources to bring the situation back to normal as soon as possible.
