QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) In line with the vision and special directives of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the Department of Culture, Government of Balochistan, in collaboration with Iman Pakistan, has announced the organization of “Iman Pakistan Haq Mela – Balochistan Talent Hunt (Music Competition).” The event will take place from May19 to 24, 2026 at the Nuri Naseer Khan Culture Complex, Spini Road, Quetta.
Provincial Assembly Member Farah Azeem Shah visited the Directorate of Culture to review preparations, accompanied by Director of Culture Dr Dawood Tareen.
Shah stated that the Talent Hunt will provide young people with an excellent opportunity to showcase their abilities while highlighting the province’s cultural identity. She praised the Chief Minister’s vision, noting that the government is taking effective measures to engage youth in positive activities.
Invitations have been extended to students from universities, colleges, and schools across Balochistan to participate. “This program will allow young people to bring their hidden talents to light,” she said.
Secretary of Culture Hameedullah Nasar described the event as a positive and creative platform for youth. He added that the department is working closely with educational institutions to encourage and guide young people.
Director of Culture Dr Dawood Tareen announced that, alongside the music competition, cultural and food stalls, film screenings, and a photography exhibition will be held on May 23 and 24. He further noted that interested participants must complete their registration by May 17, 2026.
