Balochistan Health Department issues final warning to 168 absent employees

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Jun, 2026) The Balochistan Health Department has issued final warning notices to 168 employees for continuous absenteeism from official duties.

The health department statement said that despite repeated reminders, these employees including technical, lower technical, and non-technical staff failed to report for duty.

According to the official statement, the concerned employees have been directed to submit written explanations regarding their absence within seven days.

Failure to provide a satisfactory response or to comply within the stipulated time will result in strict departmental action.

The department further clarified that under the Balochistan Government Employees Performance and Discipline Rules, habitual absenteeism can lead to permanent dismissal from service.

Officials emphasized that this measure is part of a broader effort to ensure discipline, attendance, and effective delivery of public health services across the province.

“The Health Department is committed to maintaining order in government institutions and ensuring uninterrupted healthcare services to the public,” the statement added.
