QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jul, 2026) The Balochistan government has launched the province’s first-ever E-Domicile and E-Local Certificate System, marking a major step toward digital governance and transparent public service delivery.
Advisor to the Chief Minister on Media and Political Affairs, Shahid Rind, announced that the initiative has been formally rolled out under the directives of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti. The Home Department of Balochistan, in collaboration with the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), has issued a notification for the implementation of the Integrated Domicile Management System (IDMS).
Once fully operational, citizens across Balochistan will be able to apply for e-domicile and e-local certificates through any NADRA center, Deputy Commissioner’s office, or the Pak-ID platform.

Shahid Rind emphasized that the digital system will ensure accuracy, security, and easy access to citizens’ data, while also providing government departments and law enforcement agencies with a verifiable, province-wide database. This will strengthen administrative efficiency and enhance security mechanisms.
He added that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bugti, the provincial government is committed to making public services digital, transparent, and citizen-friendly, and the introduction of the e-domicile and e-local certificate system is a key milestone in this vision.
