QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Apr, 2026) Chief Minister Balochistan (CM), Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has clarified the provincial government’s recent decision regarding vehicle transfer fees, announcing that the fee has been waived for one month to provide relief to citizens.
In a statement, the CM explained that the waiver applies only to transfer fees, while the registration fee will remain unchanged.
He emphasized that the move was introduced to ease the financial burden on the public and to encourage timely transfer of vehicles into owners’ Names.
Sarfraz Bugti noted that the temporary exemption is primarily aimed at facilitating citizens in accessing the government’s fuel subsidy scheme, ensuring that more people can benefit from the initiative. He urged vehicle owners to complete the transfer process promptly so they can take full advantage of the subsidy.
