Ban on drone use extended in Punjab

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Mar, 2026) Section 144 has been extended across Punjab, under which there is complete ban on outdoor flying of drones in the province.

The Punjab Home Department has maintained a complete ban on outdoor drone flying across the province, and the ban on drone flying has been extended for 30 days.

The Punjab government imposed a ban on the use of drones in view of security concerns, with limited use of small drones allowed during events inside halls

The responsibility for the safe use of drones at internal events will fall on the organisers, with law enforcement and intelligence agencies exempted from the ban.
