Bangladeshi civil servants' delegation visits NSPP

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) A delegation of senior civil servants from People’s Republic of Bangladesh visited the National school of Public Policy (NSPP) Lahore to participate in an executive development programme hosted by the Civil Services academy (CSA).

The delegation was received by Director General (Administration) NSPP Asim Iqbal and Director Administration and Finance CSA Muhammad Bilal Akram, along with senior officials.

During their stay, the participants attended professional sessions, interactive discussions and institutional engagements focusing on public administration, governance, policy-making, institutional management and leadership development.

The programme also includes study visits and cultural engagements to provide the delegation with an insight into Pakistan’s heritage and hospitality.

Officials said the visit marked the first-ever high-level delegation from Bangladesh to the NSPP and CSA, terming it a significant step towards strengthening institutional linkages and promoting mutual understanding through academic and professional collaboration.

They said the programme aimed at enhancing knowledge exchange through lectures, discussions and field visits involving senior public sector professionals.

During the visit, Rector NSPP and Director General CSA Farhan Aziz Khawaja is also scheduled to hold meetings with the delegation to discuss avenues of future cooperation, institutional partnerships and enhanced collaboration between civil service training institutions of both countries.

The NSPP, Pakistan’s premier institution for senior civil service training, continues to promote excellence in governance and public administration through quality training programmes and international cooperation initiatives, officials added.
